It's The Little Things That Make A House A Home

It’s the Little Things That Make a House Feel Like Home

With so much heaviness in the world, today feels like a good day to focus on the little things that make life—and our homes—feel special.

A house may be measured by square footage, bedrooms and bathrooms, but a home is measured differently. It’s the sunny kitchen window where you enjoy your morning coffee. It’s the favorite chair your dog claimed before you had a chance. It’s laughter around the table, familiar footsteps in the hallway and quiet evenings spent watching an Arizona sunset from the patio.

As a Realtor®, I get to walk through many beautiful properties, but the homes people remember most aren’t always the biggest or most expensive. They’re the ones that create a feeling—the moment you walk inside and can picture yourself living there.

Sometimes home is a mountain view. Sometimes it’s a big backyard, a welcoming kitchen or just the perfect little corner where you can relax and breathe.

What is one small thing that makes your house feel like home? I’d love to hear it!
